Market places in the city center are important local landmarks that shape the character of their surrounding areas. Temme // Obermeier is confident that the new ETFE canopy roof at Rynek Lazarski market in Poznan will be the talk of the town for years to come. The canopy in the form of a 2,300 sqm circular ETFE disc held up by steel makes a bold architectural statement. Forward-looking planning combined with high quality project in Poland and hopefully, it will be the first of many projects.

Did you know? This ETFE canopy that looks like a disc consists of two separate "cushion" elements: a smaller inner circular cushion and an outer ring-shaped cushion, which at 1,770 sqm is also currently the largest single-chamber ETFE cushion element in the world!
