Project

This trapezoidal roof covers the bus station interchange on the outskirts of the city of Rehau. The team of Temme // Obermeier installed this canopy that extends around the railway building, which has also undergone a complete renovation. The curved roof consists of a single ETFE foil membrane supported by a stainless steel cablenet system that ensures structural integrity, and this allowed us to choose a simple lightweight supporting steelwork structure. All sides of the adjacent platforms are protected from the elements under this unique trapezoidal canopy. We love this unique and quirky design!
